Review - ASDA Young Skin

Hello :)

Recently I was in Asda and I spotted these skincare products, when I looked at them I realised that they were also Paraben free, and I prefer not to use Parabens when possible, so at only £1 each obviously I got them!

I picked up the - Matt Finish Moisturiser
                      - Cleanser & Toner Milk
                     - Eye Make-up remover

Firstly I would like to say that I'm slightly torn on the packaging of these. They are bright and colourful and I like the little logo thing but I do think it makes them look slightly cheap.

Another thing that applies to all the products is the smell, I understand that if something is fragrance free, it never smells particularly nice, but these do not state that they are fragrance free. However, if they are fragranced and they are meant to be nice then I think the person who tested the smell had a blocked nose or something! They don't smell very nice...

Onto the products:

Young Skin Eye Make-up Remover - £1

Despite the smell, I am quite impressed with this eye make up remover. It is a liquid and doesn't sting or feel rough on my eyes at all, it is very gentle and it removes every last bit of my mascara and eye makeup easily. This is definitely my favourite piece out of the 3 I bought.

Young Skin Cleanser & Toner Milk - £1

The 'directions' section on this says to use it with a cotton wool pad after normal cleansing, however I find it a little too greasy - and smelly - to do this so I instead use this before cleansing with face wash, and I do like that it removes all of my make up and any dirt on my face. It also makes my face feel soft and moisturised even after I have used the face wash.

Young Skin Matt Finish Moisturiser - £1

Again, I do like this product however it does smell slightly, but not as bad as the other 2, which I'm glad about as its this one which I don't wash off! It gives a nice finish to the skin and makes my face feel fairly soft so overall I'm impressed.
